A Horticulturist is required for a Company based near Carlow Town, Co. Carlow.
The ideal candidate will (among other things):
Have a horticultural qualification and a love of gardening and plants.
Provide a professional friendly and efficient service to the Garden Centre’s customers, understanding the needs and requirements, while working to exceed these wherever possible.
Ensure all relevant POS, plant labelling and displays are correct and up to date.
Have the ability to assist with tasks and the day to day running of the Garden Centre.
Assist management by overseeing goods inwards, stock control and stock taking, ensuring they are conducted in line with company policies.
Assist in a proactively driving sales and service across the store through a strong sales team with excellent product knowledge and customer service.
Be able to build and maintain customer relationship, delivering an excellent customer service.
Keep up to date with current product knowledge and customer trends.
Follow Health and Safety protocols with the business.
Have fluent English.
